Thief VR: Legacy Of Shadow Brings Stealth Action To PSVR 2 On December 4

Vertigo Games and Maze Theory have pinned a December 4, 2025 release date on upcoming stealth-action romp Thief VR: Legacy of Shadow, which will be available for PSVR 2, SteamVR, and Quest 2 and 3.

Thief VR: Legacy of Shadow is set against the backdrop of The City, which is ruled with an iron fist by Baron Ulysses Northcrest, who employs The City Watch to prowl the streets to enforce his tyrannical rule. Any potential rebellions are ruthlessly crushed by Northcrest’s goons before they can take root.

Players follow Magpie, a thief that was orphaned by the brutality overseen by Northcrest, who is forced to steal in order to survive. However, the discovery of a legendary artifact holding a legacy from the past changes everything; you embark on a mission to unravel The City’s dark secrets and explore a sinister conspiracy, while using your skills in stealth to steal and outsmart your foes.

Magpie’s journey takes players on the rooftops of The City, through back alleys, and more in a steampunk-inspired world as you pickpocket guards, bypass locks, and disable threats using immersive VR technology.
