BloodRayne: Definitive Collection Physical Edition Brings Classic Horror Franchise To PS5

Ziggurat Interactive has announced it has partnered with Strictly Limited Game to release a physical version of BloodRayne: Definitive Collection for PS5 and Nintendo Switch.

All all three games — BloodRayne, BloodRayne 2, and BloodRayne: Betrayal — Fresh Bites — are featured in the collection, with the first two being the ReVamped editions released for modern platforms a few years ago. The physical release is the first time that all three titles have been made available in a single package.

BloodRayne was originally released in 2002 and takes place just before the outbreak of World War II, and sees dhampir Rayne, who is an agent of the Brimstone Society, dispatched to battle against super nature creatures and the Nazis across various locations including a Louisiana swamp town, a Nazi stronghold, and an ancient castle in Germany. The follow-up arrived in 2004, and sees Rayne’s half-siblings banding together to form a group known as the Cult of Kagan, who are working to establish a new era of supremacy for vampires.

Meanwhile, 2D side scroller BloodRayne: Betrayal has our heroine recruited by the Brimstone Society again to infiltrate a ball with the help of a mysterious friend. The aforementioned remastered of BloodRayne and BloodRayne 2 feature a number of enhancements over the original versions, including improved visuals, cinematic, and high-definition presentation.
