Metal Gear Solid Delta Snake Eater Producers Say The Game’s Success Will See Them ‘Consider Lots Of Other Games In The Future’
Noriaki Okamura and Yuji Korekado, the producers on Metal Gear Solid Delta: Snake Eater, have said they would ‘consider lots of other games in the future’ if the remake of 2004’s Metal Gear Solid 3: Snake Eater, due out next week on PS5, PC, and Xbox Series X/S, is successful.
While the pair wouldn’t be drawn into commenting on exactly what’s next in store for the Metal Gear Solid franchise, they told Game Informer (via translator) that they are always thinking about where to take the franchise next, but for now are focussing on Delta Snake Eater.

We are always thinking about what we could do for the Metal Gear series, but in regards to remaking future titles, currently we’re just focusing on the now, and we thought what would be the best way to reach both the old fans and potential new fans, as well. At the moment, we are focused on delivering Delta in the best possible way to the current generation, and once this game is released, if the fans feel they would like to see more from playing the game, then we would like to consider lots of other games in the future. For now, this is it.
Konami recently confirmed that Guy Savage, the mini-game otherwise known as Snake’s Nightmare from the original Metal Gear Solid 3, will return in Delta Snake Eater via developer PlatinumGames. Metal Gear Solid Delta Snake Eater is pencilled in for an August 28, 2025 release for PS5, PC, and Xbox Series X/S.
