Sarah points out that after Trick had a successful title defense at TNA Emergence, he’s one step away from going to the main event of NXT Heatwave. Trick really loves him some Trick Willy. He did what he was supposed to do at Emergence, and that is beat Moose in his hometown. Trick knows that Je’Von Evans is an athletic specimen, but he also likes to bounce. That’s awesome to Trick, because he can’t wait to bounce Je’Von ass back to high school, because this is a grown men’s business. Speaking of grown men, Trick will see Oba Femi at Heatwave. – We see Hank & Tank talking to AVA in her office. They want to know which two members of DarkState they will be facing at NXT Heatwave. AVA doesn’t have an answer for them. George Iceman introduces AVA to The Elegance Brand. They made a request to remove Masha Slamovich as the special guest referee, because she has no experience being an official referee. Masha walks into the office rocking her referee t-shirt. Masha gives a wink that makes George Iceman feel like she’s going to be biased during this match.
Jordynne Grace & Blake Monroe Segment
Jordynne Grace: I came to NXT after traveling the world, being in hundreds of locker rooms, building a reputation, and I came thinking that I would do what I’ve always done, right? Win championships. Clearly, that hasn’t been what’s happened. Now, I know that I have weaknesses, and I expected those might set me back at some point, but what I didn’t expect to set me back was a friendship. However, brief it may have been, and I watch wrestling just like all of you guys, I’ve been wrestling with myself for 15 years, so I know how these wrestling friendships normally pan out. But there’s an exception to every rule, right? And I just thought, hey, maybe I’m the exception, maybe this is the exception. Stupid, I know, I know. I’ve said this before, but being in WWE, the adjustment has been really, really hard. I’ve never had someone try to exploit my insecurities before and force me to address them publicly. I was angry at first, but now I have one goal, one objective. I don’t need to prove that I’m better than Blake, and I don’t want revenge. No, what I want is for Blake to see herself for exactly who she is. So, at Heatwave, I’m going to hold up the mirror.
Blake Monroe: Yeah, okay, okay, okay. That’s enough of that, my Muscle Muffin. Oh, you’re confused about the security. As much as everybody here would love to see you get your redemption, I don’t particularly want that. There’s no redemption for the truth, which is why I had a contract drawn up. If you lay so much as one finger on me, the match at Heatwave is off. I realized, I don’t need to feel sorry for you, you clearly feel sorry for yourself, and that’s enough for me.
Jordynne Grace: Blake, you’ve been right about a lot of things, but this is where you’re wrong. See, this is the thing, you were at Evolution, right? The biggest women’s event in wrestling, and where were you? You were standing right there, ringside, while I was in here, wrestling as one of the main characters. So, what I think, Blake, is that you are jealous of me. Evolution must have been a harsh reality check, huh. You didn’t like that at all. Blake, you are a disgusting snake.
Blake Monroe: There it is, there it is, there it is, there’s the JG that we all know and despise. You just can’t control yourself, can you? You don’t have a calm bone in your body. You can’t handle the pressure. You’re not just an outsider, you’re a reject, playing a superstar. And now that “The Glamour” has arrived, there’s simply not enoug room for the both of us. Why you, why not? Who’s more pathetic than Jordynne Grace? Come on, do it, do it, do what we all know you’re going to do, and then the match at Heatwave is off, it’s off, come on.
Jordynne Grace: Blake, I don’t need to touch you to show you exactly what’s going to happen at Heatwave.
Jordynne lays out Blake’s entire security crew. Jordynne blocks a punch from Blake.
Jordynne Grace: At Heatwave, I’m gonna show you what ugly really looks like.
– Fatal Influence is not impressed with The Elegance Brand. Lainey Reid tells Jacy Jayne to prove why she’s the double champion. Fatal Influence runs into Sol Ruca and Zaria on their way to the ring. Jacy asks Sol and Zaria if they’re going to make more useless TikTok Videos? Sol says that Jacy should take as many photos and TikTok Videos as she can, because her run as a double champion is not going to last long. Lainey points out the fact that Jacy at least defends both of her titles.
– Sarah Schreiber has a backstage interview with Je’Von Evans. How is feeling about Trick Williams abandoning him last week during their match against DarkState? Je’Von is not surprised, because Trick is selfish. Trick knows that The Young OG has his number. He would feel some type of way if The Undertaker Chokeslammed him, too, but he didn’t. To be a champion, Je’Von has to feel like one. To get to Oba Femi, he has to go through Trick. But honestly, Trick is not locked in. He’s trying to be the face of two brands, a wannabe rapper, and an ugly ass actor. Je’Von’s plans on becoming the NXT Champion. In 30 minutes, Je’Von is going to whoop that Trick.

Ethan Page, Chelsea Green, Tavion Heights, Tyra Mae Steele USA/Canada Peace Treaty
Ethan Page: Okay, okay, okay, okay. We are all aware how you Philadelphia freaks like to get down, so let’s get down to something really quick.
– The Secret Hervice dumps the table out of the ring.
Ethan Page: Much better, you can now call out our hosts, thank you. Okay, as a Canadian, I take great pride in the fact that both myself and Chelsea are here, for a peaceful, diplomatic, discussion. What we’ll be doing is sharing our opinions, and squashing our beef, peacefully. My first opinion, Tavion, is you’re doing a great job, pal, honestly. You’ve been doing exactly what you said you were going to do. You are becoming a solo star. I watched you fight your way out of NQCC. I have watched you become what you describe yourself to be, a weapon in human form. My issue with you, Tavion, is the way you look at me.
Yeah, when you look at “All Ego”, you don’t see a 19-year veteran, you don’t see a world-class athlete, literally the greatest North American to ever hold the North American Championship. Tavion, when you look at me, you only see one thing, opportunity. But that’s the issue, you sir are getting a little bit of a big head, and biting off more than you can chew, because you’re still brand new in our world. Tavion, in your world, you’re a world-class athlete, a medalist in The Olympics, that’s extraordinary. But this is our world, in our world, professional wrestling, we don’t do what you do in The Olympics, we don’t celebrate losers. There’s no second place or third place. In wrestling, when you lose, you go home, empty handed. Because here in our world, there’s no second or third, there’s only gold, and I’m the one holding it.
Tavion Heights: Ethan, I am so used to sitting across from hard-seasons vets like yourself, and I could remember all the times they’ve counted me out, that is until I sent their feet flying up in the air, and they landed flat on their back. No matter where I’m at, Ethan, I’m at the top of the bracket, dog. You think I’m foolish for having my eye on that title? Well, I think you’re foolish for underestimating me. I’ve honed my craft, I’ve done the work, I’m blessed by the athletic gods on Mount Olympus, and I’m made in their image. You think I’m not hungry for that greatness, right there? Ethan, I want what’s on my plate and your plate.
Chelsea Green: Woah, woah, woah, woah. No need to get spicy, Little T. I’m so distracted by the love that I’m feeling tonight, Tavion. Look, there’s absolutely no need to be disrespectful to the greatest North American to ever hold the North American Championship, okay? You’re being rude, Tavion, but then again, you’re American and American’s are rude. Now Tyra, Tavion, we are here to peacefully represent our country, a country rich with culture and majestic mountains, and clean fresh air. Now that I’m thinking about it, Ethan, we truly have the superior nation and the superior athletes.
Tyra Mae Steele: Chelsea, Chelsea, I am sick of you bloviating. Oh, what, you don’t know what that means? College word: it means you’re talking so much, you really have nothing to say, alright? We are here in America, better yet, Philadelphia. And in Philadelphia, we speak our minds. And what’s on my mind, right now, Chelsea, is for you to shut that voice box up that you call a mouth.
Chelsea Green: Excuse me? How dare you, the so-called Olympic Gold Medalist, call me that, please?
Tyra Mae Steele: So-called? Alright, I am the first ever Olympic Gold Medalist, and I came here from the 2020 Tokyo Olympics, I’m not a so-called Olympic Gold Medalist.
Chelsea Green: Okay, honey bunches of oats, I am your first ever, longest reigning, most dangerous United States Women’s Champion, so what now, Tyra?
Tyra Mae Steele: Chelsea, take a good hard look at this. This represents the best. And it also represents the fact that I can take you down, anytime, at any place I want. And if you don’t believe me, why don’t you ask your Secret Hervice? They know what I’m talking about.
Chelsea Green: It’s okay, it’s okay. Look, no need to escalate things, okay, we’re trying to be peaceful neighbors.
Tavion Heights: Oh, now you want to go back to be friendly neighbors. And what happened to all of that Maple Spit, right? Nah, not in Philadelphia, the historic city of firsts. Nah, not in Philly, where they know how to throw down. Nah, not in Philadelphia, that’s synonymous with true American grit, alright. Philadelphia is not going to let you forget where you at. And after the way you run your mouth, Ethan, neither am I.
Ethan Page: Really? You’re not gonna let me forget? You know what, you’re such a typical American. This a cockamamie excuse for a peaceful peace treaty. You just want flex your American muscle memory, and go straight to violence, don’t you? We’re trying to be peaceful, pal. You’re embarrassing your country.
AVA: Okay, okay. So, this isn’t really giving peace, is it? No. So, here’s what’s gonna happen, this Sunday at Heatwave, the four of you will compete in a Mixed Tag Team Match. Ethan Page & Chelsea Green against Tavion Heights & Tyra Mae Steele. Good luck.
We have a pier six brawl to conclude this segment.

Saquon Shugars starts running his mouth about how they’re more important than a bevy of superstars from NXT, TNA, and especially Joe Hendry. Joe Hendry proceeds to pop out of a locker. Hendry doesn’t want any problems, he’s excited to see them compete at Heatwave. Dion Lennox is giving Hendry one warning to stay out of their way. Cutler James makes another weird butt analogy.
