Pokémon Co. teases a spooky-themed Pokémon Legends: Z-A video releasing Aug. 21st, 2025 (UPDATE)
Pokémon Co. has a very unique video in the works for Pokémon Legends: Z-A and it’s set to launch later this week.
Pokémon Co. has shared a single image from an upcoming Pokémon Legends: Z-A video, and it seems to have a rather spooky theme. Pokémon Co. even included a “viewer discretion advised” warning along with the video’s announcement. Outside of that, we have no idea what to expect from this video.
You’ll be able to check out this special video for Pokémon Legends: Z-A on August 21st, 2025 at 9 AM ET. We’ll be sure to share the video as soon as it goes live.
Pokémon Legends: Z-A takes place in Lumiose City—a home for people and Pokémon alike. Here, thanks to an urban redevelopment plan driven by Quasartico Inc., the lush greenery of verdant parks and natural vistas intermingles with facilities made using the latest cutting-edge technology. A lot has changed here since the days of the Pokémon X and Pokémon Y games!
Choose Chikorita, Tepig, or Totodile as your first partner Pokémon, and then set off on a grand adventure! Your journey will take you to all manner of sights in the streets arrayed around Prism Tower, including shops, restaurants, and places called wild zones—where Pokémon roam free. As you catch, train, and battle Pokémon, there will be plenty of people to meet too—like AZ, the enigmatic owner of Hotel Z.
UPDATE: We now have a title and description for this video as it’s been set for an official premiere on YouTube. The video will be called The Case of the Sweet Scent Incident, and you’ll be able to watch it below when it premieres at 9:00 AM ET, Aug. 21st.
