UK independent games studio Fateless has raised $8 million to bring its total funding to $14m.
Fuelled by its growing HH Gaming community, the developer is currently working on its flagship title Godforge, which has now entered Alpha ahead of its planned global launch in Q1 2026 for Android, iOS, and PC.
Godforge is a cross-platform RPG where players harness the powers of Gods, Myths, and Legends from various factions, blending strategic depth, cinematic visuals, and community feedback to push the boundaries of the hero collector genre.
Evolving a genre
Fateless was founded by HH Gaming co-founders Simon Lockerby and Dan Francis alongside Skeleton Hand CEO Hisham Saleh.
The team has a shared vision to create a community-led studio focused on delivering “high-quality” RPG and hero collector games.
“With an already engaged and proven audience of over 2 million players across our YouTube channels, website, Discord and social media, we’re excited and confident that Godforge will help evolve the hero collector genre for the next generation of players,” said Lockerby.
“More importantly, the community has already expressed great belief in the game by helping us raise funds of $6m during our initial startup phase and was a major contributor to our latest round.”
