Xbox Game Pass RPG Wuchang: Fallen Feathers Is Off To An Incredible Start On PC

Wuchang: Fallen Feathers has gone live on Xbox Game Pass today, after a broad range of review scores for the action-RPG hit the web earlier this week. While we’ve not seen any metrics on how the Xbox version is performing thus far, the game is proving incredibly popular on Steam already – even if performance issues are plaguing its day one launch.

Looking at SteamDB, the game has already hit a record concurrent player count of over 120k – and that’s literally just happened, so it could easily climb higher in the coming hours and days. Clearly, there’s still a huge appetite for soulslike games out there – particularly ones with an interesting setting and mythology like Wuchang.

However, despite such strong sales performance on release, PC players aren’t exactly happy with how the game is performing so far. The Steam version’s 7K+ reviews amount to a ‘Mostly Negative’ rating at the moment, as users lament the game’s poor technical performance across a variety of different hardware configurations.

Still, that shouldn’t be an issue on console, and we’re hoping that the game can attract a big enough audience on those platforms as well – particularly with the help of Xbox Game Pass. If you want to read up on critic reviews for Wuchang: Fallen Feathers, we’ll chuck our recent review roundup on the title down below.
