Genshin Impact Flins release date speculation
Genshin Impact’s Flins is due to arrive in the 6.x patches as Nod-Krai rolls around. We don’t know his rarity or exactly which Genshin Impact update, but Hoyoverse confirmed his playable status by posting him on social media.
Leaks suggest he might be one of the first characters to appear on the Nod-Krai banners, but this is currently unconfirmed. Of course, we’ll be sure to update this guide as soon as we get more solid information.
Who is Flins?
At this point, we’re mostly guessing about Flins’ origins, personality, and kit. One thing you can see, very briefly, is an electro vision on Flins’ back during the above trailer around the 1:35 mark. We initially see him standing in a graveyard holding a lantern, and later fending off a mysterious force with lightning. His design features long, greyish-blue hair and a long, dark jacket with silver coffin-shaped hangings. I don’t know about you, but he’s giving me spooky vibes.
His full name is Kyryll Chudomirovich Flins. Breaking it down, the ‘ovich’ ending likely means ‘son of’ Chudomir. This is also the pseudonym of a Bulgarian painter and writer, which may not mean much to us now, but given Hoyo’s track record of borrowing historical names, it may have some significance to his character in the future.
Who are Flins’ voice actors?
Usually, there’s a list of cast members in each PV, but it seems to be missing this time, so we don’t have any information about the Nod-Krai English cast right now. However, Hoyoverse has confirmed that Flins’ other voices are Ma Zhengyang in Chinese, Nakamura Yūichi in Japanese, and Shin Yong-woo in Korean.
