Rumour — FromSoftware Working On Another Unannounced Game That Could Launch In 2026
FromSoftware, the studio behind Elden Ring and the Dark Souls franchise, reportedly has another unannounced title in the pipeline that could see a launch in 2026.
MP1st reports that FromSoftware is working on something codenamed FMC which is in the “advanced stages of production,” alongside the previously announced The Duskbloods for Nintendo Switch 2 and post-launch content for Elden Ring: Nightreign. The repot claims that the mystery title will launch “no later” than next year.

The site attempted to analyse the codename itself, which is believed to be an abbreviation, and that previous codenames starting with ‘F’ have links to Dark Souls and Armored Core. Therefore, it speculates the mystery project could be an expansion to Armored Core VI: Fires of Rubicon, or a remastered version of Dark Souls III.
Following the announcement of The Duskboods, FromSoftware’s Hidektaka Miyazaki said that the studio is not shifting focus to multiplayer games, as both the Nintendo Switch 2 title and the then-upcoming Elden Ring: Nightreign do not follow the same template as its usual titles.
