Atomfall Wicked Isle DLC Adds New Enemies, Weapons & Extra Location On June 3
Rebellion has announced that Atomfall will receive its Wicked Isle DLC on June 3, 2025, bringing additional content including an extra location, fresh weapons, new enemies and characters, plus more skills and multiple endings for the main campaign.
Speaking in a press blurb, Ben Fisher, Rebellion Development Head of Design, commented:
Midsummer is located close to the Windscale Atom Plant and as a result the levels of infection in both the people and environment are higher than on the mainland. “You are going to meet new enemy factions including pirate bandits and infected druids. To help you survive there are new weapons to be found on the island including a devastating Blunderbuss shotgun, a new bow, cutlass, daggers and the Beekeeper’s Staff. You will also be able to acquire new skills which will aid you on your quest as well as an upgraded metal detector which will enable you find even more loot caches.

Wicked Isle is included in the Atomfall Deluxe Edition and Deluxe Upgrade Pack, and can be purchased separately for $19.99.
Atomfall was released in March 2025 for PS5, PS4, PC, Xbox Series X/S, and Xbox One. You can have a butcher’s at our full verdict here. Rebellion announced in early April that Atomfall had reached 1.5 million players, becoming the studio’s most successful launch in history, and was ‘immediately profitable‘ despite a large number of those players come from Game Pass.
