Death Stranding 2: On The Beach Has Gone Gold Ahead Of June PS5 Launch
Hideo Kojima has announced in a post on X that Death Stranding 2: On The Beach has officially gone gold, which marks the end of development and ensures the game is on track for its release in late June.
We successfully received the gold master approval today for “DEATH STRANDING 2: ON THE BEACH.” We filled in the right eye of the daruma. Thank you all very much.

Kojima-san recently revealed during an interview with press for previews on Death Stranding 2 that he actually has a concept for a third game, but admitted that he is not going to be the one to mark the game. Elsewhere, Sony announced a Death Stranding 2-themed DualSense controller, which all be available in limited quantities alongside the game at launch.
Elsewhere, the Metal Gear creator revealed in his latest radio episode that he originally wanted Death Stranding 2 to come out in September, and spoke of how Grand Theft Auto VI has had an impact on how publishers look at their own release schedules.
Death Stranding 2: On the Beach is pencilled in for a June 26, 2025 for PS5.
