Star Overdrive joins this week’s eShop roundup
What’s happening on the Nintendo Switch eShop this week? While we wait for the Switch 2 – only about seven weeks away now – we continue to see a mountain of new titles heading to the Switch each week. This week’s highlight is the action-adventure stylings of Star Overdrive.
In Star Overdrive, you’ll hoverboard your way across an alien planet, solving puzzles and battling enemies along the way. It comes from a development team of 12 called Caracal Games. It’s not the first eShop title for these indie devs, but Star Overdrive is the first to be featured in a Nintendo Direct. It’s published by Plug In Digital, who brought us the mind-bending Mindcop last year. With fast-paced action mixed with platforming and third-person elements, Star Overdrive could be one to watch out for.
There’s new Nintendo Music, too, with Luigi’s Mansion joining the collection. Plus there’s a long list of titles on sale, from Mario + Rabbids to South Park, and many in between.
