Until Dawn’s Unreleased PS3 Prototype Has Received A Full Playthrough Video

The unreleased PS3 version of Until Dawn has re-emerged online in a full walkthrough video featuring chapters 1 – 16 of the game, which unlike the final version of the game takes place from a first-person perspective.

Until Dawn was originally planned as a PS3 game utilising the PlayStation Move controller, and the walkthrough was taken from the January 2013 build of the game, more than two years before Until Dawn eventually saw the light of day for the PS4. Many of the characters seen in the retailer version are present, as well as familiar locations, although being a prototype it’s clearly not representative of a final product.

Until Dawn was developed by SuperMassive Games and launched for PS4 in August 2015, and was given a full PS5 makeover in October last year by developer Ballistic Moon.
