Mullet MadJack Brings Its ‘Overwhelmingly Positive’ Shooter To Xbox Game Pass Next Week

One of the highlights of March 2025’s Xbox Game Pass lineup is Mullet MadJack, which is a “high-octane action shooter” that’s been on PC for a while now, and it has an “Overwhelmingly Positive” rating over on Steam.

This has never released on Xbox before, but it’s definitely coming on March 13th, and it brings with it a wild gameplay experience that’s apparently “90% arcade fun, 10% roguelite”. It’s not just the Steam rating that’s good either, as the Metacritic rating stands at a very impressive 88 – here are just a couple of reviews we’ve spotted:

“Mullet MadJack is a lot of dumb fun, but it’s all in support of its central themes. It’s a game where you can look it over from a variety of angles, peel back its layers, and find something new in every crevice. At the surface level, it shows a depiction of the internet taken to an absurd but weirdly believable extreme. It’s a playground exclusively for robots while the rest of us go to great lengths to gain their approval.”

“Mullet Mad Jack is a blistering, balls-to-the-wall throwback to 90s anime and violent, dystopian sci-fi that marries boomer shooters with speedrunning and roguelike aspirations to form an absolutely intoxicating brew. It’s short, and there’s not much to keep you invested even with infinite floors to climb, but you’ll be having a good time while you’re in it.”

Mullet MadJack is sounding like a superb Xbox Game Pass addition to us, and the good news is that it’ll be available on Game Pass Ultimate and PC Game Pass – which means it supports Xbox Series X and Sm PC and Xbox Cloud Gaming.
