Xbox Offering Special ‘Upgrade’ Deal For Early Access & DOOM Content In THPS 3+4

Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 3+4 has been announced today after weeks of rumours, arriving on Xbox One, Xbox Series X and Xbox Series S this July (along with other platforms), and unsurprisingly it’s getting an early access offer too.

This has become typical for Xbox first-party releases at this point, with the Deluxe and Collector’s Editions both providing access on July 8th rather than July 11th, while also offering some very cool bonus content including DOOM Slayer and Revenant skins complete with a couple of unique tricks each.

“Play as both the Doom Slayer (with two outfits, two unique tricks, and a hoverboard) or a Revenant (with its own two unique tricks), not to mention themed skate decks, Create-a-Skater items and bonus soundtracks.”

You’re looking at £59.99 / $69.99 to pick up the Deluxe Edition on the Xbox Store, but there’s good news if you intend on playing Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 3+4 via Xbox Game Pass Ultimate in the form of a ‘Digital Deluxe Upgrade Edition’. This provides you with all the Deluxe content – including early access — for just £18.00 / $18.00.

Of course, this version assumes that you’re going to be playing THPS 3+4 via Xbox Game Pass permanently, as it doesn’t actually include the base game itself, so that’s something to keep in mind before hitting the ‘buy’ button.

There’s no rush to make a decision right now anyway, as we’ve still got a few months to go until Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 3+4 lands this July. If it’s anything like THPS 1+2, we’ll probably be tempted by the Deluxe Upgrade here!
