Zenless Zone Zero Update 1.6 Arrives On March 12, Brings Geppetto Boss And Offers More Insight Into New Eridu’s Military Forces

miHoYo has announced that Zenless Zone Zero update 1.6, otherwise known as Among The Forgotten Ruins, will launch on March 12, 2025, and brings a new boss in the form of Geppetto as well as delving deeper into the secrets of New Eridu’s military forces.

Zenless Zone Zero update 1.6 will introduce a new chapter to the main narrative, as Proxies continue to secure an artefact related to Sacrifice in an auction that ignites tension among different factions. Beyond that, players will also slowly uncover more about Anby’s past prior to her involvement with the Cunning Hares, as well as fresh insight into New Eridus’s military force.

Previously known as Soldier 0, Anby is the former leader of the Silver Squad, and is an S-Rank Electric Attack Agent who wields dual swords to inflict fast-acting electric damage. Meanwhile, new S-Rank character Trigger will also join the fray, and can enter Sniper Mode allowing her to swiftly evade enemy attacks and call on teammates for a Quick Assist. Meanwhile, players will also able to do battle with the new boss, Geppetto, in Hollow Zero and unlock the new Difficulty VI in Battlefront Purge.
