AEW Collision 2/8/2025
Live from the Fort Bend Epicenter in Rosenberg, Texas!
Mark Briscoe wants Fletcher to bring the whole family because it’s his ass, boy!
Fletcher is leaving the family behind so he can prove he’s better than Briscoe, even on his best day.
Tony Schiavone and Nigel McGuinness are here and they run down tonight’s show, including Halftime Harley Cameron!
Marina Shafir and Jon Moxley show up out of nowhere and Shafir dumps a few security guards on their head. Moxley says he’s tired of Cope and there are a thousand reasons why he doesn’t deserve a title shot. Cope knows nothing about being the AEW world champion, but, he’ll fight Cope next week in Brisbane in a tag match, so it’s the Death Riders vs. Cope and Jay White!
Match #1. Six-Man Triple Threat Match: Undisputed Kingdom vs. Daniel Garcia, Matt Menard, & Angelo Parker vs. Shane Taylor Promotions
Taylor and Roddy trade some chops but Roddy boots him in the face and connects with an enziguiri. Tag to Kyle but Taylor runs through both of them with a clothesline. Quick tags as Bravo flies in with an elbow, and now Dean. Lariat by Dean. Menard in with a drop toe hold and a diving elbow by Parker. Menard hops on commentary as Cole hits a pump kick on Bravo and now Garcia tags himself in and mounts everyone in the corner. Have I mentioned this crowd is amazing? They’re amazing. Taylor in and he headbutts Garcia, allowing Dean to hit a cutter off the apron to the outside, a knee to the back of the head by Bravo, and a leg drop on the apron by Taylor! Garcia somehow escapes and tags Kyle, Roddy, and Cole, and it’s a high kick and a clothesline for Taylor. Pump kick to Bravo. Ushigaroshi to Bravo. Chasing the Dragon 2.0 to Dean! Brainbsuter on the knee to Bravo! Two count. Menard breaks up the pin and hits a cutter on Roddy. Noshigami by Parker to Kyle. Butterfly backbreaker to Parker by Dean. Headbutt to Garcia by Taylor. Superkick by Cole! Everyone is in the ring and it’s a brawl! Double elevated DDT to Cole by 2.0. Backbreaker by Roddy and a knee off the top by Kyle. Kick combo by Kyle to Garcia but Garcia fires back with an overhand palm strike and a Saito to Kyle! Bravo and Dean are in with a double curb stomp to Garcia. Parker dumps Dean but Taylor cracks him with a headbutt. Package piledriver to Parker! PK by Kyle. Triple superkick/rolling elbow/high knee by the UK and a high low to Taylor who had rolled outside. Bravo escapes a Panama Sunrise but eats a superkick and Cole lowers the boom!
Winners: The Undisputed Kingdom
Rating: ***1/4. Everyone get your stuff in and have an opening match the fans will get to their feet for? Check.
The Death Riders attack Adam Cole and now… everyone else at the ringside. Claudio takes the mic to remind everyone who the real trios champions are (remember those titles?). Cole says they picked a fight with the wrong trios, and Roddy and Kyle make the save. Cole wants the trios championship next week on Dynamite, and we’ve got a match set up for Dynamite.
