EA has pulled the plug on EA Sports UFC Mobile 2 three years after launching in 2022.
The publisher said it will shut down the title on March 13th 2025 and will end support for UFC 2 Mobile on all devices. Updates to the game’s online services will also stop.
Players can play all currently available game modes in the game until March 13th. Afterwards, they won’t have access to any game-related data or content. EA said refunds will not be available unless required by applicable law.

According to AppMagic estimates, the title accumulated 47.5 million downloads across the App Store and Google Play, generating $3.2m in revenue ($2.2m net).
“We couldn’t have come this far without your dedication and love,” EA said in a statement. “We hope you enjoy your remaining time with the game and if you’d like to continue the fight, check out EA Sports UFC 5 Ultimate Edition.”
It added: “The decision to retire game services is never easy. We’ve put time into creating these games and you’ve put even more time into playing so we’re sad to say goodbye. We thank you for your support in playing EA Sports UFC Mobile 2 over the years.”
Another mobile game bites the dust
EA has been reducing its mobile game catalogue, having previously shut down Apex Legends Mobile and Battlefield Mobile, along with announcing the closure of MLB Tap Sports Baseball, F1 Mobile Racing, and seven other titles for January 2024.
Fans have expressed disappointment on social media, drawing comparisons to the publisher’s previous decision to discontinue EA Sports UFC (2015) in 2022.
