All Of These Xbox Games Will Turn Off Their Servers In Early 2025
We’ve got a lot of cool stuff to look forward to on Xbox in early 2025, including some great Xbox Game Pass additions and even some first-party releases, but sadly there are a few server closures that are heading our way as well.
In fact, there will probably be a lot more than the nine we already know about, but we’ve got to start somewhere! In recent weeks, server closures have been announced for the likes of WWE 2K23, Dungeons & Dragons: Dark Alliance and even the Xbox 360 classic NCAA Football 14, so let’s gather these into a helpful list down below!
The one you may be a little confused about here is Blue Protocol, and that’s because it’s never arrived on Xbox outside of Japan. It was intended to launch in other regions as a free-to-play title, but was recently cancelled by Bandai Namco.
Unfortunately that’s not all the bad news we’ve got to share. Various games will be getting delisted on Xbox by the end of this year as well, with GI Joe: Operation Blackout, NERF Legends and multiple NASCAR games all set to become unavailable digitally from January 1st, 2025. If you want any of these on the Xbox Store, now’s the time to pick them up.
And finally, we’ve mentioned before how the already-delisted Friday The 13th: The Game is set to turn off its servers soon, but there’s no actual date for it yet. All we know is that it’ll happen at some point from December 31st onwards.
