Sony Unveils PlayStation 30th Anniversary Collection, Includes PS5 Digital Edition, PS5 Pro, DualSense & More

Sony Interactive Entertainment has announced a special run of PlayStation hardware to celebrate the brand’s 30th anniversary, which come kitted out in original colours seen in the first PlayStation. Included in the PlayStation 30th Anniversary Collection are not only consoles such as the PS5 Pro, but also accessories such as the DualSense and DualSense Edge.

First up is the PS5 Digital Edition, which includes the the console, DualSense, Console Cover for the disc drive, a vertical stand, a poster, PlayStation sticker and paperclip, and cable connector that is stylised like the original PlayStation controller wire.

Meanwhile, the PS5 Pro bundle includes the system and matching accessories, but the controller is the DualSense Edge instead of the standard pad. This comes with a charging station and all items listed above. Finally, you can also purchase the PlayStation Portal 30th Anniversary Limited Edition, the DualSense Edge Wireless Controller 30th Anniversary Limited Edition, and DualSense Wireless Controller 30th Anniversary Limited Edition.

There’s more than just the PSOne colours to gawk at, though. Sony’s engineers have also incorporated some unique features for this 30th Anniversary Collection, including updated button icons to celebrate three decades of PlayStation, which can be found on the PS5 and the DualSense.

Sony has confirmed that the PlayStation 30th Anniversary Collection will launch on November 21, 2024, with the PS5 Pro version of the set available as a limited 12,300 unit run.
