Pokémon Sleep hits 1 million monthly users in Japan
Pokémon Sleep launched in July of 2023, which makes it a little over a year old at this point. While the game has found success around the world in that time, it seems there’s no place more fond of the unique app than Japan.
According to data from Sensor Tower, Japan currently has over a million monthly active users in Pokémon Sleep. Believe it or not, that is nearly double the amount of active users here in the United States. The data also shows that in the app’s first year, 37% of total downloads and 70% of revenue came from Japan as well.
In terms of users in Japan, the 25-34 age range accounts for the biggest grouping (42% of the player base), followed by ages 35-44 (26% of the player base). Along with that, the Sensor Tower report shows male-to-female user ratio of 6:4.
