Zen Studios’ Harry Potter: Magic Awakened is shutting down in America, Europe and Oceania. 

According to a statement from the game’s official website, Magic Awakened will remain playable for players in  Chinese Mainland, Hong Kong, Macau and Taiwan, including other select Asia and MENA territories.

While the reason for the game’s shutdown is unknown, the official website states that players who have the game can continue to play until Tuesday, October 29th 2024. 

Saying goodbye 

“We have shared the magical journey of Harry Potter: Magic Awakened with millions of fans around the globe. The time has come for Harry Potter: Magic Awakened to officially close its servers in the Americas, Europe and Oceania territories on October 29, 2024,” the statement reads. 

“The game will be removed from the App Store and Google Play Store for players in these regions on August 26, 2024, and it will no longer be possible to make in-game purchases as of this date.”

“We’d like to thank those in the Americas, Europe and Oceania for playing, and are incredibly proud and honoured that so many fans all around the world have enjoyed Harry Potter: Magic Awakened with such enthusiasm and passion,” the post concludes.
