Indiana Jones And The Great Circle Is A ‘Really Big Game’ For Those Who Want To ‘Experience Everything’
Indiana Jones and the Great Circle Design Director, Jens Andersson, has revealed during an interview with IGN at GamesCom 2024 that the upcoming action-adventure title is ripe for exploration and is pretty big if you’re looking to see everything on offer.
Andersson revealed that the game allows players to return to previous areas and hunt for all the hidden goodies available, although this is entirely optional. If you’re just in it for the story, you don’t have to poke your head into every nook and cranny the game has to offer.

Because it’s so open-ended, we are thinking about replayability a little bit differently than, for example, the Wolfenstein titles. In this game we allow you to go back and revisit previous areas to really explore all the content there is there.
The idea is that when that’s fully complete… that’s when you’ve 100 percented the game and seen everything it offers. The story is really important, and for the people who just want to explore that, the game will be shorter. But for the people who want to experience everything, there are a lot of things to explore and it’s a really big game.
Indiana Jones and the Great Circle was confirmed for a Spring 2025 release on PS5 during GamesCom 2024 this week, and will arrive first on PC and Xbox formats in December.
