Tony Khan Confirms That AEW Is Interested In Running An Event In Australia In 2025

Tony Khan confirms a big rumor that has been going around.

Earlier in the month, a report surfaced stating that AEW was looking to run an event in Australia in 2025, which would mark the promotion’s first ever appearance in the Down-Under. Khan spoke about this report during today’s media call to promote All In, where he confirmed that 2025 is a year that AEW does hope to travel to Australia.

I just wanted to address some reports regarding AEW potentially running an event in Australia. We can confirm that we’re currently looking at various locations in Australia to potentially run an event sometime next year in 2025. We’ll have more information about this in the near future. 2025 is going to be a milestone year. Just as this is a milestone year, I think 2025 [there will be] even more great milestones to come.

AEW will be running Wembley Stadium for second year in a row this Sunday with its marquee All In event. In 2025, the All In spectacle pay-per-view will be headed to Globe Life Field in Arlington, Texas.
