Red Dead Redemption PC May Finally Happen, According To Updated PS Store RDR PS4 Listing

The PC version of Red Dead Redemption may finally materialise 14 years after the game was originally released, according to an updated description of Rockstar Games’ Wild West epic on PS4.

While the description has since been switched back to the original content, a screenshot of the text confirms that a PC version is on its way. Here’s the key blurb:

Experience the epic western adventurer that defined a generation — now on PC for the first time ever.

Featuring the complete single-player experiences of both games, including bonus content from the Game of the Year Edition, Red Dead Redemption features all of the 2023 console version upgrades plus PC specific enhancements including support for increased resolution and frame rates, multiple displays, and other accessories, plus spatial surround sound.

Rockstar Games hasn’t issued a formal press release regarding Red Dead Redemption for PC, but the PS Store description being updated (even though it’s odd a PC version is mentioned on it) is about as official as it gets, more so given the fact it was quickly removed.

Red Dead Redemption is currently available on PS3, Xbox 360, PS4, and Xbox One.
