Crunchyroll expands Game Vault with 15 new titles

  • With three games now available, 12 more will launch in summer and early fall

Popular anime brand Crunchyroll is doubling down on gaming as it brings 15 new mobile titles to its Game Vault for members worldwide. 

Battle Chasers: Nightwar, Dawn of the Monsters, and Evan’s Remains have launched already, with 12 more games set to release throughout the summer and early autumn.

The titles are available to Mega Fan members to play on mobile devices through the App Store, Google Play, and Crunchyroll.

Exciting partnerships

As part of its flurry of new releases, the company has partnered with visual novel outfit Mages to bring popular anime franchises to Game Vault.

Titles heading to the service include the award-winning Steins;Gate, horror adventure Corpse Party, cyberpunk thriller Psycho-Pass: Mandatory Happiness and romantic comedy The Quintessential Quintuplets: Memories of a Quintessential Summer.

Other games heading to Game Vault include 9 Years of Shadows, Crypt of the NecroDancer, Lunar Lux, Magical Drop VI, MMC Kenken – The World’s Most Exciting Math and Logic Puzzle, PictoQuest, RWBY: Arrowfell, and Spidersaurs.

“Bringing visual novels to Crunchyroll’s game lineup is another example of how we super-serve our fans with entertainment that deepens their love of anime,” said Crunchyroll EVP of emerging business Terry Li.

“Like manga, visual novels are a source material for hit anime and often expand on beloved series. It is important to offer that content to our audience as part of their membership.”
