Tripledot Studios acquires Get Color developer Zephyr mobile

Casual mobile games company Tripledot Studios has acquired Get Color developer Zephyr Mobile for an undisclosed fee, PocketGamer.biz can reveal.

The studio was founded in 2016 by Serge Morozov with investment backing from Skalaban Capital founder Alexander Skalabanov.

It’s best known for games such as Get Colour, Hey Colour and Math Crossword and claims its titles have reached more than 100 million people.

The company currently employs 55 staff across its Warsaw HQ and other cities in Eastern Europe.

Zephyr Mobile CEO Serge Morozov will continue running the studio’s day-to-day operations. Terms of the deal were not disclosed.

Scaling up

Tripledot Studios has published games such as Woodoku, Solitaire and Triple Tile. In its last Series B funding round in 2022, the company raised more than $116 million at a $1.4 billion valuation.

Last year, the studio won the accolade for Best Developer at the Pocket Gamer Mobile Games Awards 2023.
