Xbox Will Publish Toys For Bob’s Next Game And First As An Independent Team Since Leave Activision

Toys For Bob confirms that rumours around its first game since going independent are true, it will indeed be partnering with Microsoft and Xbox to get its next game out there.

In a tweet the developer confirmed that Xbox will be publishing its next game, and also confirmed that this next project is currently “very early in development, so you might not hear from us for a bit.”

There’s also seemingly no indication from Toys For Bob in this message as to what this project will be. That they’re partnering with Xbox however means that it’s still quite possible we see another Spyro game, as it’s been rumoured.

If Spyro does return, it’ll be very exciting for fans, but with Xbox publishing, there’s the chance that this next project could be under an exclusivity deal for Xbox platforms, at least for a limited time.

Especially if it is Spyro or any other Activision IP’s that Microsoft now owns is the subject of Toys For Bob’s next game.
