Sony Reportedly Wants ‘Nothing To Do’ With Star Wars Knights Of The Old Republic Remake

Jeff Grubb has claimed that Sony wants ‘nothing to do’ with the upcoming Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic Remake, which is still alive and well at Saber Interactive.

Speaking on Twitter, Grubb was asked about the situation with Knights of the Old Republic Remake, as he had previously claimed last November that the project was dead in the water, as no one was working on it. However, he explained this was because he had heard Sony wanted nothing to do with the project, so assumed it was no more.

Not long after Grubb made his claims about the game being dead, Bloomberg’s Jason Schreier issued a counter report, stating that he’d spoken to sources at Saber and that it was still in the works. Anyway, with all that said, here’s what Grubb had to say on the matter:

My understanding is that Sony wants nothing to do with it anymore, which is why I thought it was dead. Obviously, though, Saber still seems very determined. And I have a lot of trust in Saber.
