Assassin’s Creed Origins Actors Want To See A Sequel As Aya And Bayek’s Story Remains ‘Unfinished’
Abubakar Salim and Alix Wilton Regan, who portray Bayek and Aya, respectively in Ubisoft’s Assassin’s Creed Origins, have expressed interest in counting their characters’ stories in a possible sequel.
Whether or not this could actually happen is anyone’s guess right now, but Salim tweeted that he should “just start a studio” to produce an Assassin’s Creed Origins follow-up, while his co-star opined that Aya and Bayek’s tale remains “unfinished.”

Assassin’s Creed Origins was released in 2017 and acted as a soft reboot for the series, taking placed hundreds of years before the events of the original game and before the formation of the titular organisation. Bayek is one of Egypt’s last Medjay and married to Aya, with the duo embarking on a path of revenge after their son is murdered by the Order of the Ancients, the precursor to the Templar Order.
The game incorporates more RPG-based mechanics as Bayek and his enemies are governed by a levelling system, while gear is acquired to boost your stats. Assassin’s Creed Origins features a large-scale open-world to explore, with missions and side quests taking you from bustling towns, the sun-baked desert, to scaling massive pyramids and raiding tombs.
