Geoff Keighley Teases More Information On Bioshock Creator’s Next Game JUDAS Is Coming Tomorrow
Mr. Game Awards himself Geoff Keighley has teased that tomorrow, March 26, 2024 we’ll get some more information on Judas, the upcoming game from Bioshock creator Ken Levine’s studio, Ghost Story Games.
On Twitter, Keighley revealed that he’s had the chance to play Judas for approximately five hours, and that we’ll more about it tomorrow. He also revealed that he’ll be a part of a “long-form” conversation with Ken Levine and IGN’s executive editor Ryan McCaffrey.
Another layer to everything, is that tomorrow is also the 11 year anniversary of Bioshock Infinite’s release.
“A couple of weeks ago I had the chance to play 5 hour of JUDAS in Boston…Tomorrow you’ll hear more about Ken’s vision – including a long-form chat with me and Ryan McCaffrey.”
McCaffrey is a little more clear on when we’ll hear this new information, telling us that the interview with him, Keighley and Levine will be available at 9am PT / 12pm ET / 4pm GMT.
It’ll be interesting to see if tomorrow will bring any new gameplay. Both McCaffrey and Keighley were given the chance to play Judas, but hopefully they were also allowed to record some gameplay, so we could get a deeper sense of what it’ll be to play Judas.
Regardless of us getting the gameplay though, tomorrow’s interview still sounds like it’ll be a landmark event. Keighley hasn’t done something like this for a while, as his games journalist days have been long behind him.
Perhaps this could be the beginning of Keighley returning to interviewing and speaking more consistently on the games industry, instead of just hosting the few annual shows he does each year.
And of course it’ll be interesting to hear Levine talk more about Judas, who’ll hopefully begin to answer the questions around just how much is Judas going to be like Bioshock.
