Lawn Mowing Simulator now available for Switch

When we can expect Relax In the Hammock Simulator?

Daylight Saving Time is now upon us, and in my part of the world that means Lawn Mowing Time is just behind. If you can’t wait another month to change the oil, sharpen the blades, replace the air filter, and get started, you don’t have to. astragon Entertainment and Skyhook Games Studio have announced that Lawn Mowing Simulator is now available for Nintendo Switch.

Some of you all may be saying, “Hold on, Hiner. Why would I want to simulate what I already have to do every Saturday morning of my summer?” To which I reply, “OK, but do your Saturday mowing sessions involve dinosaur parks and druid monuments? Didn’t think so.”

Plus, the game is about a lot more than just maintaining straight lines as you push your Toro up and down the yard. Specifically:

Lawn Mowing Simulator is the ultimate experience for all players who have always wanted to build their own lawn mowing empire. This involves hiring new employees, keeping an eye on finances and purchasing new machines. For the latter, original, licensed lawnmowers from the Toro, SCAG, STIGA and EGO brands have been recreated graphically and physically in a detailed manner. Each mower comes with unique challenges, accessories and upgrades.

The missions take players to lively residential areas, the green spaces of charming country houses, the grounds of historic castles or huge equestrian fields. Each map presents an individual challenge that requires careful inspection of the terrain, the correct choice of blade height and monitoring of the engine load. In addition, accessories such as mulchers, strip rollers, recyclers, grass collectors and flail mowers add to the high level of realism. Lawn Mowing Simulatoroffers individual gaming experiences for every preference with the career mode, the exclusive Quick Mow Mode, which will currently only be available in the Switch version, and a challenge mode.

The aforementioned dino and druid content comes via the Dino Safari and Ancient Britain DLC, which is either available separately or included with the Landmark Edition.

Lawn Mowing Simulator is available now in the Nintendo eShop for $19.99 for the standard edition, $24.99 for the Landmark Edition. The Landmark Edition is also available physically for $34.99 wherever finer simulated lawn implements are sold.
