BG3's Physical Version Runs Into Storage 'Limit' For Xbox, Will Now Ship On Four Discs

We all know how massive of a game Baldur’s Gate 3 is, so it came as no surprise when the Xbox retail version was announced a few months ago that it would be spread across three separate discs for Xbox Series X.

The only problem is… that’s no longer the case. Instead, the Baldur’s Gate 3 Deluxe Edition will now ship on four discs when it arrives in the near future, and that’s because of the game being 500MB over the limit as things stand.

Interestingly, the PS5 and PC versions are arriving on two discs each, so it’s only Xbox that requires four. Nevertheless, the price is still the same, with the Deluxe Edition retailing for a very reasonable €79.99 on the Larian Store.

If you’re already locked into the first wave of shipping, you should be receiving this edition at the end of March or early April, while sales for the second wave are now open and will be shipped at some point in the second quarter of 2024.
