The game for March 2024 is Turnip Boy Robs a Bank, which only recently came out (it was released back in January) and is the sequel to the former Xbox Game Pass title, Turnip Boy Commits Tax Evasion.

“I have very much enjoyed this game, particularly how it plays. However, I haven’t been that invested in the story or the characters. The main missions felt like just going through the motions. I liked the collectibles. Tower defense and weapon customisation hasn’t really grabbed me. It’s been a fun distraction to kind of kill an hour or two each day.”

“The beginning of the game was rather cumbersome to get used to. But once I got the hang of it, I loved nothing more than grinding and blasting my way through enemies and traversing through the city. The humor was spot on, the characters were fun and engaging, the story was decent enough, and the combat /gameplay was really what makes this game shine. It really grew on me after a few hours.”
