It’s also been a busy week in terms of Nintendo-related news and chatter. A new Princess Peach Showtime trailer has everyone buzzing, and we go through the latest outfits and abilities. Nintendo has done a great job building the hype for Peach’s next outing, and we’re getting more and more excited for its release. Go Mermaid Peach!
We also talk about the recent news from Sony and Microsoft and how it affects Nintendo fans and the future of the console wars. It’s an interesting time, with Switch 2 rumors swirling, Microsoft titles coming to other consoles, and event the humble Wii U was trending during the week. Is it The Phantom Menace of Nintendo consoles? It seems to have some nostalgic value for players.
We talk about several games we’re playing at the moment. Apart from Mario vs. Donkey Kong, Trev is also into Phantasy Star for a special magazine article, plus Disney Dreamlight Valley.
We cap things off with our usual Switch 2 rumors of the week. This week is all about the potential release window and backwards compatiblity. It’s fun to talk about, but it’s all speculation until we hear from Nintendo!
