Rise Of The Ronin Will Feature 4-Player Online Co-Op For The Game’s Main Story Missions
Team NINJA has revealed during a Q&A on the Rise of the Ronin official website that the game will support full online co-op up to four players.
Yes. In Rise of the Ronin, players can join up to three others to experience the game’s main story missions in online co-op. Note that a PlayStation Plus membership required to play online, and there is no PVP combat.

Rise of the Ronin takes place across war-torn 19th century Japan, and takes the form of an open-world action-RPG from the creators of Nioh and Ninja Gaiden. Set in 1863 following three centuries of the Tokugawa Shogunate’s oppressive rule, Rise of the Ronin opens as the Black Ships of the West descend up on the Nation’s borders, plunging the country into a states of turmoil.
Team NINJA will release Rise of the Ronin for PS5 on March 22, 2024.
