Helldivers 2 Servers Hit Capacity Limit As Arrowhead Works To Address
The mammoth success that is Helldivers 2 continues to defy expectations, such that it has now begun to suffer from capacity issues, leading to players being unable to connect to the game’s servers.
Taking to X (formally known of Twitter) to address the challenges, the official Helldivers 2 account said that despite their efforts the game was now suffering from server congestion and that the team would be working to improve the situation without delay.
It comes at a time where Helldiver 2’s all-time concurrent player count on Steam has surpassed that of Destiny 2 and Starfield, and impressively has even beaten every other PlayStation-published title – some 14 titles – when you combine all-time concurrent totals on PC.
Moreover, due to a prominent progression bug, developer Arrowhead had rolled out a 50 percent multiplier on XP for this weekend as a goodwill gesture, hopefully whomever wishes to avail is able to connect given the aforementioned capacity issues. Best try to connect at off-peak times.

We published our review of Helldivers 2 last week, scoring it a 9/10 and saying that, ‘’there’s no getting around it – Helldivers 2 is a supremely fun, frequently unintentionally hilarious and bombastic squad shooter that builds upon its predecessor and deftly sets up a long-term future in the process.”
