Sony Reveals It Has Made A $2 Million Donation To Humanitarian Aid For Israel-Gaza Conflict

PlayStaton console manufacturer Sony has issued a donation of two million dollars towards humanitarian efforts for those affected by the Israel-Gaza conflict.

The format holder confirmed that it has donated funds to the Japanese Red Cross Society and the United Nations Children’s Fund. Beyond that, a number of Sony Group companies are running programmes matching donations made by employees to non-profit organisations.

Publishing Devolver Digital has also revealed it has issued a donation to support Palestinians affected by the conflict.

We’ve donated to United Nations Relief and Works Agency who are providing humanitarian aid to Palestinian families, we ask you to consider donating if you’re able.

The news comes following Joe Biden, President of the United States, revealed that a deal had been struck with Egypt to secure the distribution of limited aid into Gaza, after Israel established a blockade in the region 11 days ago.
