Rumour – An Astrobot Game And More Unannounced Games From Established PlayStation IP’s Are Coming In 2024
Hot off the news that PlayStation won’t have any game releases from the franchises it sees as its “major” IP’s, Jeff Grubb has a report that should help calm the nerves of PlayStation players everywhere.
Even if we won’t be getting games from franchises PlayStation sees as major, that doesn’t mean there won’t be any major releases. Grubb claims that a new Astro Bot game is set to arrive this year.
He also claims that there are more unannounced games coming from series that are already “established” PlayStation IP’s.
An Astro Bot game, if it arrives would absolutely be major to anyone who fell in love with the first Astro Bot title on PSVR and the PS5 launch title.
Especially if it is a PS VR2 game, every person who spent the money on Sony’s new headset would likely consider it to be a major release.
New games from non-major but established IP’s could also mean older IP’s coming back, it could mean a lot of things.
Hopefully we’ll start to learn more about what PlayStation has planned for the rest of the year soon.
