The Blood’ Pre-Order, New Trailer, and PC Demo Now Available, March 5th Release Date Listed – TouchArcade

We’ve been keeping tabs on Action Square’s Kingdom: The Blood since it was first announced back in the summer of 2021. This is an action RPG based on the popular Netflix series Kingdom and takes place during an alternate timeline during the Korean Joseon Dynasty in the early 17th century. About a year after its first announcement, we got an early look at the gameplay in Kingdom: The Blood with a new trailer, and in January of last year we got more new gameplay footage as well as some behind the scenes developer videos of the game. Now it’s all coming to a head as Kingdom: The Blood has another brand new trailer, which you can see below, as well as an expected release date of March 5th.

As you can see, there’s lotsa zombie slayin’ going on in Kingdom: The Blood. One of the core premises is that there’s an herb that can bring back the dead, and in order to fight off an invading Japan the herb is used to create a huge army of undead soldiers. It works, but of course the whole “raising the dead” thing spirals out of control, as those things tend to do. Now you’ve got zombies all over the place, and they’re those crazy fast 28 Days Later kind of zombies. It’ll be interesting to see how it turns out when Kingdom: The Blood launches in about a month, according to the expected release date listed in the App Store. You can pre-order the iOS version here, or the Android version here, and if you’re on PC you can try out a demo as part of Steam Next Fest over on the game’s Steam page.
