Tekken 8 Asks If We’re Ready For The Next Battle In Epic Live-Action Trailer
Bandai Namco Games has unleashed a punchy live-action trailer for Tekken 8 ahead of the game’s highly anticipated launch next week, which simply asks one question: Ready for the next battle?
While the publisher missed out on a chance to have people dressing up as Tekken characters for the trailer, it’s still pretty decent, featuring a massive face-off around the world as everyone straps on their fighting face for a dust-up. I don’t know about you, but I’m definitely ready to take my Kazuya into Ranked battle come January 26.
If you’re an avid follower of the Tekken competitive scene, then you’ll probably recognise a few top players in there, too!

Tekken 8 features 32 characters for its launch roster, including newcomers such as Reina, Victor, and Azucena, and veterans Paul Phoenix, Kazuya Mishima, Marshall Law, Alisa, and more. New to the game is the Heat mechanic, which gives you access to a powered-up version of your character for about 15 seconds once per match, greatly increasing your combo potential.
Bandai Namco Entertainment will publish Tekken 8 for PS5, PC, and Xbox Series X/S on January 26.
