Nick Offerman Wants To Do A Frank And Bill HBO’s The Last Of Us Spin-Off Show

HBO’s The Last Of Us didn’t entirely sweep the awards between the Emmy’s and the Golden Globes, but it did walk away with a few wins.

Including a Creative Arts Emmy win for Nick Offerman for his portrayal of Bill in the show’s infamous third episode. After the show, Offerman was asked if his or Frank’s character would return in season two, perhaps in a flashback.

Offerman didn’t offer any spoilers, but did say that he’s already thought of going back to the role, though through a spin-off Bill and Frank show, which he confirmed he has already pitched to HBO.

A version of what’s been pitched, according to Offerman is “a whole mini-series of a prequel of their lives before they met each other.”

He also says that “it could be a musical. We’re not short on ideas,” before saying that ultimately things would depend on what current The Last Of Us showrunner Craig Mazin could come up with.
