Last week, we discussed the end of E3 and the end of an era. We also went into our most-played games of 2023. This week marks the end of the year, and with that comes sales, sales sales! We begin with a look at some of our top picks in the current eShop sales. There are some massive discounts available, so let us know which games you pick up.
We’ve also tried the recently released demo for Another Code: Recollection. This beautiful-looking title hits the Switch in Jannuary, and we’re thoroughly enjoying our time with it so far. It’s a story-driven outing that features a teenage girl looking for her father on a mysterious island. There are puzzles to solve and people to meet, highlighting a compelling introduction to the full game.
Have you heard the rumor about the plan for an Avengers-like Smash Bros. cinematic universe? Take this news with a grain fo salt, of course, but we discuss this latest rumor and give our thoughts on Nintendo’s likelihood to enter into such an endeavour, as well as our thoughts on cinematic universes in general.
We also highlight four titles hitting the Switch in January 2024, with a fun discussion on the likes of Turnip Boy, Ace Attorney, and Prince of Persia. Which games are looking forward to in 2024?
