Vampire: The Masquerade – Bloodlines 2 Unveils Ventrue As Its 4th Playable Clan
The Chinese Room has lifted the bloody veil on the fourth playable clan in Vampire: The Masquerade – Bloodlines 2, which are known as the Ventrue.
According to the developer’s post on Steam, the Ventrue view themselves as the rightful leaders of vampire society, and choose their progeny from mortals who are familiar with power, wealth and influence. They seek to take up the leadership mantle where possible, and are often found in high positions within the Camarilla Courts.
Described as blue blooded tyrants, the Ventrue incite obedience in their allies and foes alike, and use the Disciplines of Presence and Dominate to mesmerise and awe their prey. Upon feeding, then increase their Fortitude, allowing them to absorb more damage in case their enemy is strong enough to resist their force of will.

Vampire: The Masquerade – Bloodlines 2 has been delayed numerous times throughout its development cycle, with Hardsuit Labs originally working on the project until a few years ago before Paradox Interactive moved them off the sequel. Back in September, it was revealed that The Chinese Room had taken the reins on Bloodlines 2, with a release due in Fall 2024.
