Call Of Duty: MW3 Gets Surprise 48-Hour Xbox Discount For Black Friday
As you’re probably well aware, over 1000 games were discounted for Black Friday 2023 on the Xbox Store last week, but we’ve had a few more since then – including a surprise discount for Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3.
Yes, even though this wasn’t advertised ahead of time, Call of Duty: MW3 is currently 15% off on the Xbox Store for a 48-hour period, bringing it down to £59.49 / $59.49. While that might still be fairly expensive, it’s certainly a welcome discount for those who were planning on buying it anyway – and don’t forget you can combine it with any Microsoft Rewards points you may have, along with our Pure Xbox discount on Xbox Gift Cards.

If you’d rather buy Call of Duty: MW3 in physical form, you may find an even better deal – it’s £54.99 for the Cross-Gen release at Very UK for example, so it’s worth doing a bit of digging in your region for the best offer on the boxed version.
As for whether the game’s worth it, we gave Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 a “Not Bad” 6/10 in our review here at Pure Xbox, criticising the Zombies mode and the lack of invention in multiplayer, but still praising how fun it can be to play online – and even sharing our appreciation for the short-but-sweet campaign.
