Hello friends, in today’s video we dive into the game of #Frostpunk. Frostpunk is a city building game like no other. It features a concept that has never been seen before in a city building game. The main aspect of the game that makes it so different is the cruel environmental factors involved. The main factor is the temperature which is the core of the game. The game is set in a post apocalyptic event which ended the world in a natural disaster and froze everything in the world. The Londoners must survive the cold in the special craters built with a generator to withstand the cold and provide heat. The player is challenged by having the task of ruling this group of people, in terms of managing their resources, such as coal, wood and steel. Many other fundamental aspects of the game lie in the hands of the player, such as shaping the society the way the player wishes by signing different laws and meeting certain objectives. Furthermore, the player must keep in mind the harsh weather and the significant drops in temperature as this may cause citizens to fall ill and ultimately die.

With the game placing such high obligation on the player to achieve certain objectives and goals in surviving, it may be hard to new comers. In this video, we tackle the issue of the beginning of the game. The video approaches the guide from a beginner’s perspective, explaining all fundamental elements of the game, such as the resources, the temperature and the way the citizens system works. The video then provides the player with an overview guide, or a #step-by-step guide in what to build first, and how to approach and prepare the city for the first drop in temperature in day 4. Day 4 is a significant milestone as temperature drops to -40 degrees and if the city is not built correctly, citizens may fall ill and the player may have an early loss at the game. The player is recommended to build gathering posts, as the fundamental surviving tactic for the first temperature drop as these gathering posts around the stock piles will provide heat during the harsh cold. The video then shows a the player the different research options to pick from early game and some of the most beneficial laws that will prove essential in survival. This video is a review of the game, and step-by-step tutorial/guide for beginner’s and new comers to this type of game/genre. This video shows the viewer what they need in order to develop and start an #efficient city.
