New Forza Motorsport Seemingly ‘Most Popular’ Launch In Series’ History
Turn 10’s next generation of Forza Motorsport launched on the Xbox earlier this month and it’s reportedly smashed the “day one” player count of previous entries in the series.
This data comes from TrueAchievements, with the Xbox achievement tracker site sharing its own member data, which reveals the number of players that unlocked on achievement in the game on day one was apparently “three times higher than the number of day one players for Forza Motorsport 7”.
As mentioned by the source, the new Forza Motorsport obviously had a head start with the Premium Edition offering players five days of early access, and then on release, downloads were further driven by Xbox Game Pass subscriptions.
Keep in mind, this is just a small sample of data based on one community, but it is at least somewhat of an indication that this latest entry in Turn 10’s long-running racing simulation series is off to an incredibly strong start, even if there have been some bumps in the road along the way.
