Yoshi-P Brought To Tears As Final Fantasy Creator Thanked Him For “Making Final Fantasy Even Better”

The Final Fantasy 14 fan fest is always an exciting time for fans, though this past weekends festival will go down as a special year, due to one emotional and wonderful interaction.

Final Fantasy creator, Hironobu Sakaguchi was sharing the stage with Naoki Yoshida, otherwise known as Yoshi-P.

While on stage, Sakaguchi thanked Yoshida, “for making Final Fantasy even better moving forward,” and the sum of all factors in the situation were overwhelmingly emotional for Yoshida, and it brought him to tears.

It was a wonderful interaction between the two, and they got to share it on stage in front of fans they’ve both helped create, and create something that connects all of them.

Final Fantasy is one of gaming’s biggest franchises, and in particular Final Fantasy 14 has had an almost unbelievable arc from where it began to where it is now.

Moments like this, particularly between two people who are already so adored by fans was definitely special to see.
