Kevin Nash Says NXT “Smoked” AEW In Ratings War This Month

During a recent episode of “Kliq This,” WWE Hall of Famer Kevin Nash offered his perspective on WWE NXT’s victory over AEW in the ratings earlier this month.

Nash emphasized the clear-cut nature of the victory, stating,

“Number one, you play a baseball game, you get beat by seven runs, you got beat. There wasn’t a — there was no call that could have gone either way, no ball hit the upright, they [AEW] got smoked.”

Nash also emphasized that external factors, such as The Undertaker’s brief appearance with Bron Breakker, should not overshadow the significance of the roster itself, explaining,

“If you think that ‘Taker coming down and what he did for seven seconds with Bron [Breakker], that’s — it doesn’t matter, your roster is your roster.”

He further highlighted the fact that everyone on the roster is under contract and receiving regular compensation, and the onus is on the promotion to manage and utilize their talent effectively.

In his view, the outcome of the ratings battle was a clear indication of WWE NXT’s performance against AEW.
