Diablo IV’s Season 2: Season Of Blood Is Now Live, After Blizzard Delayed It “A Few Hours” Minutes Before Launch

Blizzard hasn’t had the best time with its most recent releases, despite them each still being quite successful in their own way. Overwatch 2 may not at all be the game it was promised to be, but the core gameplay has kept its community strong.

Diablo IV for its part is the most successful game in the franchise, but it feels like the community is constantly in conflict with Blizzard over a myriad of issues.

The latest thing to put a bur in the community’s bonnet is that Diablo IV’s second season, Season Of Blood is live right now, but was delayed minutes before it was meant to launch.

“Hello everyone, we have encountered some technical issues with our current build and will be delaying Season of Blood’s start time by a few hours to remedy these issues.” Blizzard said.

“Once we have more information, we’ll update you right away. We apologize for the inconvenience and appreciate the feedback you have provided and your patience.”

Nearly three hours later, the season was live, but fans were still incredibly upset by the delay. You can check out the patch notes for what’s changed in the coming season, here.
